Crane painting at Gouweleeuw

Painting cranes isn’t an everyday job — it’s a true craft! And at Gouweleeuw, we’ve mastered that craft down to the finest detail. For over 30 years, we’ve been giving cranes of all kinds — from Liebherr to Tadano, from Spierings to Sany — a fresh, sleek new look. In our modern paint facility, we make sure every crane leaves our workshop looking as if it just rolled out of the showroom.

Why have your crane painted?

A crane has to endure a lot: mud, oil, rain, bright sunlight… it all comes with the territory. But that doesn’t mean your crane has to look dull and worn out! By having your crane professionally painted by Gouweleeuw, you protect the metal against rust and wear — and extend the lifespan of your machine. On top of that, a crane in fresh company colors immediately looks professional. And let’s be honest: a gleaming crane on the construction site is bound to make an impression! It’s a true eye-catcher for your business.

How we work

We start by dismantling the body panels so they can be treated in detail. Next, the crane gets a thorough wash in our own washing bay, followed by sanding, rust removal, and careful masking of all parts that must not be painted. Then the machine is ready for the paint job! In our professional spray booths, we apply the paint meticulously, layer by layer. Once all panels are reassembled, we perform a final inspection — and then the crane is ready to shine.

A few beautiful projects

We’ve had the pleasure of working on many impressive cranes. For instance, we painted the Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 for Sarens PSG Ltd. in their distinctive company colors. And the Tadano ATF 100-4 from Stouwdam? We transformed it from blue and red into a bright, sunny yellow — impossible to miss!

Let your crane shine again!

Whether it’s a compact city crane or a giant telescopic crane, at Gouweleeuw we make sure your machine looks immaculate and is perfectly protected. With a touch of care, craftsmanship, and paint, we’ll make your crane shine like new again!
